Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, look out for our representative who will be holding a placard with your name on it. A short drive and you will be in your hotel, our tour officer will help you complete all the check-in procedure and brief you about tour itinerary. In the evening you can head over to Thamel, the main tourist hub where you can have some good time at the bar or a club. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today you get to kick-start your cultural discovery! We have a lot of sightseeing in storefor you starting with Kathmandu, the nerve-center of Nepal. It flaunts its rich history andvibrant culture in every possible nook and cranny. Visit Pashupatinath Temple. Accordingto religious belief Lord Pashupatinath is the almighty God and savior of all human beings.It is therefore said that all Hindu should pay homage to Lord Pashupatinath at least oncein their lifetime for their eternal peace and salvation. Then after make your way to thelargest stupa in the world Boudhanath Stupa built in the fifth century. Before the present day Stupa was build, it was an overnight camp of Tibetan businessman. Today it is bestsite to observe Tibetan lifestyle, culture and religious practices of monks. It is also popular for Tibetan Jewelry, hand-woven carpets, thanka, masks, khukuri, knives, and moreTibetan products. Continue towards, Patan Durbar Square- the center of Fine art. Patan Durbar Square and as you walk past the whitewashed gate, you enter a square lined with cafes, grocery stores and huge iron bells. Still beyond the alleys lie mostly medieval neighborhoods of the city. Temples and Stupas are in abundance, in various shapes, sizes and antiquity. Continuing visit towards Swoyambhunath Stupa meaning the "the self-existent" is popular among foreigners owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. No wonder why it’s also called “Monkey Temple”. Make sure you keep an eye out for these notorious creatures. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Following breakfast, our adventure begins with a scenic drive to Pokhara(210km, 5-6hrs drive) offering views of rivers, terrace fields and captivating view of the Annapurna range as you near the city- scenic lake city. (En-route visit to Manakamana Devi Temple by cable car). Feel free to take a stroll through the city in the evening or relax by the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.
A short drive before the crack of dawn, takes you to Sarangkot to witness the most amazing sunrise over the panoramic view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu mountain range. You can paraglide in Sarangkot as the option is available on request. Return back to hotel for breakfast. Proceed for visit to Bindhabasini Temple dedicated to goddess Durga- the deity of supreme power, right in the center of the bazaar. The 16th century architecture is sure to delight you. Davis falls, or “PataleChanggo” in Nepali is actually an underground waterfall. The water flows under the ground through its natural tunnel of 500 feet from the fall made by the water currents beneath the land. Move towards Mahadev Cave, also known as Gupteshwor Cave is limestone cave with its shrine desiccated to Lord Shiva. The cave is said to have been discovered in 16thCentury. Watch the Seti Gorge standing atop the MahendraPul. Flowing right through the city, the river runs completely underground at places. There’s lot more to do in Pokhara, just stride down to the lakeside area in the evening. Overnight in Pokhara.
Drive towards Chitwan (180 km, 4-5 hrs drive). Chitwan is listed among one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites. This is also the first national park of Nepal. You will enjoy 2 days full of jungle activities that will take you deep into the jungle and get closer to the wild as you comb the jungles for rhinos and tigers. On the evening there will be special cultural show by indigenous Tharu community people followed by dinner. Overnight stay at Chitwan.
The day will be filled with various jungle activities starting with jungle safari. Canoeing on the calm waters of Rapti River is the best way to spot water birds, crocodiles and alligators. Visit local Tharu village to closely observe the lifestyle and habitat of these indigenous people; and the brave can even take a guided walk through the jungle, surrounded by the hoots and roars of the forest. Overnight stay at Chitwan.
After breakfast drive back Kathmandu (175 K.M/5 HRS). Upon arriving, transfer to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is 32 KM from Kathmandu and 1:30 min of driving. Upon arrival followed by welcome drinks check in at hotel and Evening enjoys the panoramic view of eastern mountain ranges with green high hills from your respective hotel & Overnight in Nagarkot
